| Traditional
print locations are on the center-chest,
the back (between shoulder blades)
or on the left-chest (also
known as a "heart"
or "crest" print).
But nowadays printing is being done in many non-traditional
locations such as sleeves,
anywhere along the bottom hem,
or over seams and collars. The modern rule is "There
are no rules!".
Of course
there are things you might want to consider while
developing your idea.
Printing
in multiple locations requires additional
handling that increases the cost of production.
Some printing techniques like the popular "all
over" printing requires specialized equipment
and even multiple artwork versions (hence more printing
screens) to achieve the effect on different garment
sizes.
